Aastra 57i-CT is an executive IP phone with the best mobility and expandability of any current IP phone. The 57i-CT includes one wireless handset but can grow to four wireless handsets.The wireless handsets are 1.9GHz not WiFi so no additional wireless infrastructure is necessary. Perfect for a busy executive, office manager or secretary the Aastra 57i-CT can be used with the Aastra 536M and 560M expansion modules for additional line keys. 

The 57i-CT has a good build quality and is in a league of its own in the high end VoIP handset market.

It has the new sleek and elegant design of the Aastra 5i series phones. The Aastra 57i CT features a large 144 x 128 pixel graphical backlit LCD display and 6 dynamic context sensitive softkeys, the Aastra 57i CT base unit is fully interoperable with leading IP Telephony platforms, and offers advanced XML capability to access custom applications.

The Aastra 57i CT can support up to 9 calls simultaneously, so you never miss important calls. Aastra 57i CT s a part of the Aastra 5i Series of IP telephones, and is ideally suited for executives, heavy telephone users who’d require more one touch feature keys and a large screen to take full advantage of XML based programs and mobile warehouse, support and retail staff. Mobility, business requirements, technology, flexibility – the Aastra 57i takes care of it all.

The Aastra 57i-CT is expandable with either the 536M expansion module or the 560M expansion module. The 536M includes 36 additional line keys and a paper insert to mark the keys. The 560M adds an additional 60 keys with its LCD display.

The Aastra 57i CT is equipped with XML browser capabilities and an extra large display with dynamic softkeys to easily access customized services and applications. Aastra 57i CT allows you to create internal service applications using development guides available from Aastra. With this feature, you can customize the Aastra 57i CT to meet your specific business needs or vertical applications using the display and keypad.

Enhanced Call Management
The Aastra 57i CT features extensive storage capacity for personal directories, caller logs and redial lists with 12 programable keys. The Aastra 57i CT can improve efficiency by providing more call information with the push of a button. The Aastra 57i CT also features shared call and bridged line appearances, call forward, call transfer, call waiting, intercom and local 3-way conference which increases call flexibility and control.

Expandability
The Aastra 57i CT offers two different module extension options. Three Aastra 536M modules are supported, each offering 36 keys with LED indicators. This creates a feature rich attendant console on the Aastra 57i CT. It will also support up to three of the advanced Aastra 560M modules, each offering 60 keys with a screen based LCD display and LED system.
