standard FXS / FXO bundle configurations for the TDM400P, this configurator
allows you to select standard and non-standard FXS / FXO configurations.
Under "Choose your Options" above select the FXS / FXO port configuration that fits your needs. For example, if you would like to have four analog phone lines from the telephone company connected to Asterisk, select the TDM04B: 4 FXO option from the drop down menu. If you would like to have two analog telephones and two analog phone lines from the telephone company connected to Asterisk, select the TDM22B: 2 FXS + 2 FXO option.
What is a bundle?
The Digium TDM400P by itself is an
unpopulated half length PCI card that fits into the PCI slot of a standard PC
motherboard. In order to use it with Asterisk you need to add FXS or FXO
modules to the TDM400P which creates a bundle. The Digium S100M is a single port
FXS module and the Digium X100M is a single port FXO module, both of these
modules are used to create bundles with the TDM400P.
- TDM400P + S100M(s) + X100M(s) = Bundle
The naming convention for the TDM bundles is as follows: TDM X Y B.
Where "X" denotes the number of FXS
modules, "Y" denotes the number of FXO modules, and "B" indicates the product is a bundle.
