Product Description
The ATA-486 has one FXS (RJ11) port and two Ethernet ports
which allow you to connect an analog telephone or fax machine and a PC to an Ethernet network.
The Grandstream HandyTone-486 (ATA-486) is an
award-winning next generation VoIP adapter based on industry
open standards.ATA-486 has a built in router, DHCP server, NAT and supports
DMZ and gateway port forwarding. It can be configured through a simple web
interface, through an attached analog phone keypad and voice prompt or can be
can be configured via a central configuration
file which simplifies mass deployments. The HandyTone-486 uses powerful
Digital Signal Processing (DSP), advanced adaptive jitter control and
packet loss concealment technology to ensure
the highest sound quality. the ATA-486 reduces the cost of deploying your Voice over IP
network by simplifying the
installation process and protecting your investment in analog equipment.
