Linksys SPA901 IP Phone 1 Line (2 Line Appearances) 1 Ethernet Port (RJ45) Supported Protocols: SIP Wall Mountable MFRG Part Number: SPA901-NA (Unlocked)
Linksys SPA901 Product Description
Sturdy, wall mountable, entry level IP phone perfect for residential use, hallways, break rooms and warehouses.
The Linksys SPA901 is the entry level phone for the Linksys SPA series IP phones. It is wall mountable and is commonly used for residences, break rooms or other common areas where low call volume is anticipated. The SPA901 sold by Voiplink.com is the unlocked version meaning it can be used with any service provider or PBX that supports the phone. The SPA901 is a single line phone but can have two call appearances so if someone calls while the phone is being used a call waiting tone will be played.
The SPA901 is wall mountable and can easily be fixed to sheet rock or dry wall surfaces. The SPA901 is a well built phone at a reasonable price. Because it is built by Linksys you can be assured that it has a good build quality and quality internal parts.
Because it uses the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), the SPA901 is compatible with many leading voice over IP PBX's and is popular among the Asterisk Open Source IP PBX community.
The SPA901 has hundreds of features and settings that allow it to be used effectively by traditional businesses with the additional flexibility of voice over IP telephone. Moving the handset from location to location is a breeze, and shared line appearances (across local and geographically dispersed locations) are just some of the many advantages of the Linksys SPA901 IP Phone.
- Small, affordable, single line business class IP Phone
- Connect directly to an Internet telephone service provider or connect to an IP PBX
- Wall mount or table top phone
- Easy installation with secure remote provisioning. Menu based and web based configuration.
Provisioning and Managing the Linksys SPA901
The SPA901 can employ data encryption protocols that provide secure remote provisioning and firmware updates.
