Product Description
The Polycom 301 is a 2 line voice over IP enabled telephone that provides great features at a low price. It is one of Polycom's entry level IP phones that is ideal for cubicle workers, common areas, warehouses and outbound call centers. The Polycom 301 features two lines, two Ethernet ports and optional Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af) via a separate dongle cable. It can be purchased with SIP or MGCP protocols installed for compatibility with many service providers and IP platforms.
*Voiplink is a Polycom Certified Reseller and can provide our customers with access to all of Polycom's firmware and bootrom releases.
Polycom IP phones are known for their excellent sound quality and the 301 is no exception. Voice calls sound clear and natural, almost like being there. Polycom IP phones also feature robust build quality. Unlike some entry level phones, the Polycom 301 has heft and you can feel the quality when you hold the phone. The handset for Polycom IP phones has the best acoustic properties of any handset in the voice over IP telephone market. The chambers are deep and solid which is essential for providing that clear and natural sound.
Polycom is well known in the VoIP market because it supports open communication standards. Their SIP implementation is exceptional and they work with many service providers and open source IP PBX's to ensure compatibility with those platforms.
With integrated video, voice, data, and Web capabilities, Polycom offers the
only solution that gives you an easy way to connect, conference, and collaborate
any way you want. It's our commitment to making distance communications as
natural and interactive as being there. Work faster, smarter, and better with
the SoundPoint IP 301 and Polycom's integrated communication solutions.
