Is my specific phone model compatible?
Yes! All Cisco IP phones are compatible with the headsets we sell. If your phone has a dedicated headset port (look on the back of phone) it is compatible with the standard cable. Because the vast majority of Cisco IP phones include a headset port Voiplink includes the standard cable by default
in all of our shipments. If your phone is one of the few that does not
have a dedicated headset port you will require a special cable to use
the headset. If your phone does not have a dedicated headset port or if
you are not sure, simply tell us the model number of your phone in the
"comments" section of our order checkout page.
Cisco Model Numbers with a Dedicated Headset Port
Cisco 7931 Cisco 7940, 7941, 7942, 7945 Cisco 7960, 7961, 7962, 7965 Cisco 7970, 7971, 7975
Note: all of the "G", "GE", "CH1" & "CCME" versions also include a dedicated headset port.
Cisco Model Numbers without a Dedicated Headset Port (requires special cable)
Cisco 7902, 7905, 7906, 7910, 7911, 7912 Note:
If using a headset with these phones, the handset cannot be used. This
is because the special cable is plugged directly into the handset port.
This applies to wired headsets only, wireless headsets are not affected.
