R8FXX-EC-01 Product Description
The Rhino Equipment R8FXX analog PCI card is a modular card that can be
populated with either FXO modules, FXS modules or both -- let your needs drive
the combinations. The card has four dual channel module slots, one for each
module, and each module supports two analog lines. All Rhino cards and modules
are marked with numbers directly on the card, so you will know what lines to
what module are connected without spending time identifying channels.
The card is also ideal for companies that plan to expand the number of analog
lines in the future. Module slots can be left unpopulated, and when needed,
additional modules can be added at a later time. This can save you money by only
buying what you need, when you need it.
Adding modules in the future is simple. The modules are attached to this card
using a 2 point connection. This unique connection method means that the
modules are easy to install, but provide the mechanical integrity needed for a
reliable connection.
Our card is ideal for Open Source Telephony (OST) applications. It is Asterisk
and Zaptel software tested and compliant. Features like music on hold and IVR
applications can now be found on your analog phone lines.
